Google doodle celebrated Filipino Adobo

Every bite is tender, juicy, and soulful. Today's animated Doodle celebrates adobo, a way of cooking and a favorite Filipino dish! Adobo utilizes the acid in the vinegar and the high salt content of soy sauce to produce an undesirable environment for bacteria. Its delicious flavor and preserving qualities served to increase adobo's popularity.

In the Philippines, which was claimed by the Spanish in 1521, adobo is most often a braise featuring vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, bay leaves, and black peppercorns—the ratio of which is dictated by both your family's palate and your own.

The doodle showed two children, one male and one female, who gratified eating famous Adobo. Filipinos considered this as national dish although it is not yet passed as Republic Act.
