Ako ay may kiki Children's book, Female version launches

Lampara Books has published another progressive children's book titled "Ako ay May Kiki" (I Have a Vagina). The book aims to teach children self-awareness while they are still young, including learning about their bodies and how to take care of them. "Bawal makita ng iba, lalong bawal nilang hawakan! Ang puwedeng mag-alaga ay si Nanay at ako lang!" an excerpt from the book read.

Sandra Hernandez, a consultant from the Philippine General Hospital - Child Protection Unit remarked that the book is a "powerful tool" to reinforce health prevention messages.  She added that this may also give an opportunity for parents to discuss sensitive topics with their children. Lastly, Hernandez said that "Ako ay May Kiki" could also be a child sexual abuse prevention tool.

The book is written by Glenda Oris and illustrated by Beth Parrocha. It is recommended for children age 5 years old and above.

It is available on e-commerce sites Shopee and Lazada. Lampara Books earlier published "Ako ay May Titi" (I Have a Penis) written by Genaro R. Gojo Cruz.

Why kiki? I thought pekpek is the real tagalog word. I checked google translate and it's puki but it's just suggested by Google users.
