ONE LAST SONG
As floodwaters inside their home steadily rose amid the onslaught of Typhoon #OdettePH, netizen Niel Jon Salcedo decided to bid farewell to his 20-year-old piano with a final song: Yiruma’s River Flows In You.
"This might be the last time [i'll] be playing with my 20-year-old piano. Typhoon Odette please stop na," Salcedo's social media post read.
When asked if there is still a chance for the piano to be saved, Salcedo said, “I still dont know, but since made of wood yung exterior ng piano. Masisira yung ibang parts and magiiba yung tunog.”
Salcedo, a resident of Cagayan de Oro, was unfortunately one of the people directly affected by Typhoon #OdettePH. Luckily, he and his family are now safe having evacuated in their relatives’ place just in time for his 27th birthday today.
