HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
I tried to shoot a moon halo on the 4th of September at 1:08 am using samsung galaxy a10s. I have a shot as well on canon powershot sx20.
Moonhalo is refracted from ice crystals in the atmosphere but the exact shape of ice crystals is not clear.
