Return to store soft plastics is astonishing for AU and NZ, Kudos

An acquaintance has been given a chocolate last Christmas. It was fruit and nut flavor with sultanas and almonds. I found out that this brand has an option to return the soft plastics to the store hence it is sustainable and helpful for our nature. This is another step to zero waste journey.

On 27 February 2023, REDcycle was declared insolvent and a liquidator was appointed. On 7 March 2023, the Soft Plastics Taskforce, which is chaired by the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment, and Water, issued a Roadmap to Restart to resume in-store collection. As per the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission website, this task force is responsible for managing soft plastic waste. They are collaborating with the government to pursue their mission on recycling soft plastics based on their Instagram post. Source: https://www.instagram.com/p/Ck-T_qpP4_0/?hl=en

In New Zealand, the Return to store of soft plastics is operational. Check it out at https://www.recycling.kiwi.nz/.
