March 19-20, 2022 | March 16th is the start of hot dry season or so called summer in the Philippines based on Weather bureau PAGASA. It is the start of hottest season so we were having a weekend early summer getaway at Bauang, La Union to swim at the beach. I was so excited together with group of teachers.
La Union is part of Region 1 or Ilocos region and it is near to Ilocos Sur for It is 3 hrs. away from La union based on Navigation map.

We departed at around 4 am to traverse for 4 hours and we rented 2 vans because we have many companions, the more the merrier. I was grateful to join the vacation for teachers so it was free for me. Before we went to Bluwater resort, Bauang, La Union, We stopped by at Manaoag Church in Pangasinan. Our lady of Manaoag or Nuestra Senyora de Manaoag has been canonically affiliated with the Papal Basilica of Saint Mary Major in Rome since June 2011. We have prayed for blessings and other wishes. We walked long towards the church since the church is enormous with museums, park and lodging area. What a peaceful day!
Expressway is very helpful to travel far distance and No Heavy traffic. Region 1 is beside the west Philippine sea. When we were on the road of La Union, we saw several grapes farms along the Macarthur highway and we stopped by before we got home the next day. The grapes are scrumptious and healthy and there are full of Mangosteen and blueberry wines at the farm they are selling.
Finally, We have arrived at Bluwater resort an hour before 12 noon and it is Lunch time. I smelled the sea breeze, the fresh air, the calmness of water, air and the whole area. We fixed our things at the villa accommodation rooms. WE HAVE ENJOYED SO MUCH WHILE EATING LUNCH AND SWIMMING AT THE BEACH. WE MUST WEAR SUNBLOCK FOR SKIN PROTECTION FROM THE SUN DURING 12 NOON, THE HOTTEST TIME or wear Rash guards. WE BROUGHT MANY FOODS HECNE WE SHAN’T GET HUNGRY. Of course, We have Pictorial for Memories and sharing to Social media.

Teachers saw their students beside our villa. Small world for they are also having a vacation.
we rode the boat to Rock formation at San Fernando, La union. It is white rock sand and sea grass. We saw many Jellyfishes.
At least, We have pampered for 2 days and one night after work. This is work-life balance that we are doing. We have flattered and fascinated with the view of the LONG beach. We saw the sunset and the morning view on the next day.
