The cemeteries has been ordered a nationwide closure by Gov't

28-Oct.-2020 | This is the last day of visit on the cemetery before it shall be close all cemeteries and columbariums tomorrow, 29th of October until the 4th of November due to the guidelines of Covid-19 task force.

Many people already went to their late loved ones few days ago until now. We should wear face mask and face shield before staying at the cemetery. All of us still want to cherish and pray for our departed loved ones although we have health crisis we are facing right now.

The IATF-EID decided to allow a limited number of cemetery visitors during the weeks before and after Undas week. A certain number of visitors will be allowed from September 17 to October 28, and from November 5 to November 15. “Because cemeteries will close for one week, the number of people who can visit those who passed away will be limited to 30% venue capacity. Face masks, face shields, and social distancing will be required,” said Harry Roque. “For the 30% I mentioned, the age restrictions will not apply. We know that the seniors and children will really want to pay tribute to their departed loved ones,” added Roque.

All of us are allowed to seek the grave under 30% venue capacity only.

The Inter-agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) ratified this decision in its Resolution No. 72 signed on Wednesday, September 17, Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque said in a virtual press briefing on Friday, September 18.
